Sammy Hagar, known as “The Red Rocker”, modeled our leather at the Stepping Out Fundraiser for Marin Breast Cancer last Saturday night, 9/25/10. Sammy is an incredible entertainer besides all his famous music and really got the crowd going. Sammy is a local resident of Mill Valley and is an American rock singer, guitarist, solo artist and composer who has been performing since the late 60’s. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in March of 2007 as a member of Van Halen. Besides being part of Van Halen, Sammy has worked with Ronnie Montrose, Neal Schon of Journey and lately Joe Satriani. He is currently lead singer of a hard rock band called Chickenfoot. Outside of music Sammy is well known as the founder of the Cabo Wabo Tequila brand and restaurant chain.
